phpE-mail is an almost zero config application which allows your web site users to send emails marketing your site or product/service to their friends and colleagues without having to leave your web site.

As such phpE-mail should be considered a viral marketing tool, like a virus any of your web site users could "spread" your message to someone they know. In my opinion nothing is better than a personal recommendation. All you require is a web site (of course) a web server that runs php v4 or above. Specifically the PHP version needs access to either sendmail or exim for example, most commercial hosting I have come across has these features enabled by default.
phpE-mail consists of only 3 files which need to be uploaded to your web server and a few lines of code that need to be placed in each web page you publish. we have never had to alter any of the code within the scripts to allow installation to work successfully on many of our own web sites.
